ADMISSIONS

Whether you are a first time or returning parent, enrolling one or more students, local or relocating, we are here to serve you and help you through the MZCA admissions process.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

The selection of students is based on interviews with the administrators, receipt of school records, and submission of all fees and forms. A registration fee is required to ensure a place for each prospective student. Timely payment of all additional fees is required to keep registration in good standing. Parents/guardians and students must sign a statement of intent to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies of Mount Zion Christian Academy.

The age requirements for students entering school are:

  • A child must be 5 years of age by November 16th to enter kindergarten.
  • A child must be 6 years of age by December 31st to enter 1st grade.
  • Maturity level and academic potential are also determining factors.

Students will not be admitted after the fifth day of the fourth quarter of the school year. Any student who has been pregnant or caused pregnancy (full term, abortion, or miscarriage) is not eligible for admission to Mount Zion Christian Academy.

Mount Zion Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
