We do not take this responsibility lightly. Rest assured that we understand the assignment and will do our part to facilitate the spiritual, academic, physical, social, and mental development of your child in Christ.

I am passionate about education, especially Christian education. I believe that knowledge, first, begins with the fear of the Lord. Learning without that healthy fear is vanity. I also believe that every student can learn when given the right tools, environment, encouragement, support, and motivation. For with Christ, all things are possible.

I have been teaching for more than a decade. My journey in Christian education began as a home educator and youth minister. That season fueled my passion for teaching and learning and was the impetus for my departure from the healthcare industry. Consequently, I pursued and earned a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University. I also hold a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education and a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before joining the MZCA family, I was the founder and Head of School for a small private Christian school and also worked as an elementary reading and math tutor.

I look forward to an exciting year of learning and discovery with your heritage. He or she will be challenged and held to a standard of academic excellence and high moral character. Grace & Peace!
